KOMPAS.com - Recently, the public has been excited by the emergence of a new shonen manga called Kagurabachi.


The manga series was created by Takeru Hokazono and just made its debut on September 19, 2023 in Issue #42, 2023 Weekly Shonen Jump.

Since its debut, the Kagurabachi manga has only had four chapters to date.

However, even though Kagurabachi itself is still relatively new, the popularity of the manga is no longer in doubt.

As of Monday (9/10/2023), the manga has occupied third position on the list of the most popular manga according to MANGA Plus, an online manga provider platform from SHUEISHA.

Thanks to that third position, Kagurabachi managed to beat “Chainsaw Man” in fourth and “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex” in fifth.

So, what is in the Kagurabachi story that makes this manga so popular among fans?

They thought that daily life like that would continue until everything changed since the terrible tragedy befell the small family.

Chihiro's father was suddenly killed by a group of witches, leaving little Chihiro in the gloomy days after his father's death.

It is known that a group of mysterious wizards are after a number of mystical swords that were forged by Kunishige, and they want them back.

When all the mystical swords had been taken by the group, as time passed, young Chihiro realized that his father had left another mystical sword for him to carry.

The sword gives Chihiro a special ability thanks to the special forging done by her father, allowing her to use various sword techniques that only she can do.

Kagurabachi will tell Chihiro's story as she tries hard to find the mastermind behind her father's death.

Chihiro and his sword now live only to avenge his father, telling the story of the young man exploring what it means to be a true swordsman.
